Dromaeosaur

Dromaeosaurs were small- to medium-sized, carnivorous, theropod dinosaurs. They are often referred to as “raptors” due to certain characteristics they share with modern birds. They are placed in the near-bird group Maniraptora, which is believed to be the group from which birds evolved. Dinosaurs within this group had long arms that would eventually develop into wings.
